Asst. Principal - Stacy Lashbrook

I am so excited to begin my 7th year as an Assistant Principal at Highland Lakes Elementary and my 26th year in education. Highland Lakes Elementary is a special place to work as our students, staff, parents, and community work together to create an extraordinary school.

I began my teaching career as a 2nd grade teacher in Round Rock ISD. My family then moved to Arlington, Texas where I then taught 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades at St. Alban's Episcopal School. While at St. Alban's. I attended Texas A&M Commerce and graduated with a Master of Art in Reading. I taught 4th and 5th grade at Spicewood Elementary prior to moving to HLES. While teaching at SWES, I attended Texas Tech University to obtain my Master degree in Administration. My heart remains true to my first Alma Mater The University of Texas at Austin. I am a die hard Longhorn fan. My closet contains numerous burnt orange apparel, while my office houses many burnt orange items as well.

My two oldest have graduated from Marble Falls High School. My youngest, Robyn, will be a Senior at Marble Falls High School this year. My older children also graduated from MFHS and are in college. Paige attends UTSA, while Hunter dabbles in college coursework locally at CTC.
